Lead Pastor

Steven Gaither's life was forever changed Easter weekend 1997. God made it clear that He was calling him into full-time ministry. Steven answered the call to preach the Gospel at the age of 17.

 

He married Kristin in 2000, and they began a journey of ministry together. Steven & Kristin have five kids: Grace, Joshua, Djeeby, Emma & Caleb.

 

Steven has served churches as a Youth Pastor, Discipleship Pastor, Lead Pastor at The Grove Baptist Church and Director of Missions for the South Central Baptist Area.

Steven was called to serve as the Lead Pastor at First Baptist Church in McAllen, TX in July 2019. He believes in the power of the Gospel to change lives and bring hope to hopeless places.
